FELICITY AMOR FSTSD, BA (Hons), AGSM, LRAM, PGCA
Felicity trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and after having been an examiner for them for over thirty years, she became Principal Examiner in Speech, Communication and Drama and then Chief Examiner for the School. Following the merger of Trinity and Guildhall exam boards, she became Associate Chief Examiner for the two boards until May 2005.
Felicity has taught speech and drama in a wide variety of schools but spent the greatest part of her teaching career as Head of Drama at Ashford School, Kent. During her time there she directed many plays and musicals and entered pupils for local festivals. She served on the Committee of Kent Festival for much of her time in the area.
Examining and adjudicating has taken Felicity to Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Malaysia, Cyprus, Malta, Guernsey and Jersey as well as all over the UK and Southern Ireland. She has served two three year terms as Chairman of The Society of Speech and Drama (STSD) from whom she was delighted to receive Fellowship.
She is organist at a local parish church where she reintroduced a Junior Choir.
